Pastels and Acrylics
Born in Buffalo NY, moved to Lexington in 2016, I work mostly with pastels and just recently started working with acrylics.
I am interested in creating oil paintings that capture the mood of nature through interesting light and shadow patterns. Inspiring me the most are Kentucky landscapes.
Oil and Acrylic
We all have an inborn need to create. And some deeply need to express and share.
Becky has been exploring various art forms and styles, creating landscapes, still lifes, abstracts, and pet portraits.
Marge has been painting in watercolor for 10 years. Her travels Southeast Asia and France have inspired many of her works.
Mixed water-based media
Molly VanZant combines her love of mathematics and art with sharp lines and dreamy clouds of color.
Frank is an architect in central Kentucky but his passion for painting has become a force for his creative interpretation of the world around us and Architecture in the landscape.
Paintings touch, both what is real and what is not, for what it is, in between.
Art allows me to explore color, movement, shape and texture in nature, environments created by people. Through drawing and painting I can explore emotions in others and myself.
Pastels and Oils
Marianna McDonald is a landscape artist using pastel and oil paints to depict the light and beauty of the land around us.
I create to celebrate the enchantment of Art, Earth and Music, using watercolor, pastel, acrylic, colored pencil, & collage.
My love and my goal is to create pieces that inspire, encourage, and invite joy into the souls of others.
Oil & Pastel
“Capturing an emotional connection to a person or place is why I paint, in the hope of creating connections for the viewer as well.”
I have always loved painting with watercolors. The loose flow and the merging of colors is magical.

Acrylic. Usually on canvas, sometimes on walls.
An interest in the mechanical, fantastical and whimsical tends to manifest in my paintings in the form of imaginary moments remembered.
"The human form and face is unlimited in its variations. I never tire of exploring them. Every face has a story. Ultimately, my goal is to tell the story I see through my art."
