Nancy will demo a still Life. Students will paint from the same still life and will teach students to see shape against shape.
Bruce wil demo architecture. Students will paint from his reference. Emphasis is on simple perspective and using light to create mood, atmosphere, and emotion

3-Day Oil Painting Workshop

This 3-Day workshop is with OPA, AIS, NOAPS Signature artist James Swanson. James will be showing the different color ideas and strategies he works with to make his award-winning paintings, like working with a limited number of colors on your palette to managing the full palette, how to achieve instant color harmony, and how to make colors brighter and cleaner using the impressionist’s concepts.The workshop will have demos, critiques, and with a lot of painting. We will be painting landscapes, objects, and one of his award-winning water dogs. The workshop will be exciting, challenging with a lighthearted tone.Cost $350
